Our Commitment
Starting Over Now is committed to making its educational content usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people with disabilities. The site is independently owned and operated by a sole proprietor, and accessibility is treated as an ongoing part of maintaining and improving the website.
Our Approach
We use recognized accessibility guidance, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, as a reference for practical improvements. Our work may include:
- clear headings and readable page structure;
- keyboard-accessible navigation and controls;
- meaningful alternative text for informative images;
- readable color contrast and text sizing;
- labels and instructions for forms;
- responsive layouts for different screen sizes; and
- plain, understandable language where practical.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We continue to review the site as content, technology, and standards change. We cannot guarantee that every page, feature, or third-party component will be fully accessible in every combination of browser, device, and assistive technology.
Third-Party Content
Some embedded content, links, tools, payment services, advertisements, or other third-party features may be outside our direct control. We encourage third-party providers to offer accessible experiences, but their accessibility is governed by their own practices.
Request Help or Report a Problem
If you have difficulty accessing any part of the site, please use our Contact page and select “Website feedback.” Include the page address, a short description of the problem, and the assistive technology or device you were using if you are comfortable sharing that information.
We will make a good-faith effort to understand the issue and provide the information in a reasonable alternative format when practical.
Changes to This Statement
We may update this statement as the website and our accessibility work evolve. The “Last updated” date will identify the latest version.
